Program Details

Open to all DSU students, this study abroad course is loaded with academic, service and cultural activities. Participants will have the opportunity to live with a Yucatec family, visit world-class archeological sites, engage in service learning projects, and improve mastery of spoken Spanish.

Program Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old at time of departure
  • 2.0 GPA

Course Credit

SPAN 2990- Seminar in Spanish: Mexico/Service Learning (3 credit hours)

Program Fee Covers

Room and board, three weekend excursions, weekly activities, conversation classes, and travel insurance.

Program Fee DOES NOT Cover

DSU tuition, roundtrip international airfare, weekend meals when away from homestays, passport fees, souvenirs, entry tax, and other discretionary spending.
