Program Details

The course, Art Travel to South Korea will provide students opportunities to experience Korean Culture, Ceramics Art and International opportunities to make life long connections. You will be studying in particular ceramics and South Koreas specific wares. Also , this study abroad will coincide with the International Ceramics Symposium (ISCAEE) held at Dankook University in Yongin City. The symposium will provide the opportunity to experience Korean culture and ceramic arts, build friendships and network with participants and professors, exchange and experience world ceramics culture. Students will do research and studies into new and historical ceramics during the study abroad and will be encouraged to exhibit works and discuss their techniques with the international participants of the ISCAEE symposium.

Spring semester 2019 (Class on DSU campus)
June 23–July 3, 2019 (Travel to Korea)

  • Final payment by April 15, 2019
