Italy : Seminar in Art

Program Details

Come enjoy more than just a taste of Italy by spending three weeks in Rome exploring the Ancient, Renaissance, and Baroque art that the Eternal City has to offer. Each day, we will head out into the city to learn about the art and culture of the city through its monuments and artworks. Ever wanted to crane your neck looking at the Sistine Chapel ceiling of Michelangelo? Stand in the Colosseum or Roman Forum where ancient Romans also stood? On this trip we will explore everything from the artworks that the Roman Emperor Augustus brought to Rome to Raphael to Bernini. We will have the unique experience of learning about these masterpieces in person! Throughout the program there will be free time for you to explore the city on your own as well, should you wish.
