Study Abroad

Faculty Leader Resources

Leading a study abroad program can be a highly rewarding endeavor that can provide students the opportunity to experience learning in a way that is difficult to achieve in the classroom alone. The upfront work that you do to prepare will make the overall experience better for you and the students.

Please contact the Study Abroad office to sign up for the next available Faculty Leader Information Session or schedule a meeting with the Study Abroad Coordinator. Please read the Study Abroad Procedures, which will help you become familiar with the necessary steps involved in preparing a proposal and leading a study abroad course.

When you are ready to create a Study Abroad Proposal you will need to fill out the online proposal form, upload all required documentation, and submit the form. The proposal will then be emailed to the Department Chair and Dean for approval and sent to the Study Abroad office for review and final approval.
